Volunteering at Kawai Purapura

Volunteering is an enjoyable, educational and affordable way to explore the world and we welcome volunteers to live and learn at the beautiful 19-acre community of Kawai Purapura.

Our volunteers are our life-blood.  In exchange for 18 hours work each week (six three-hour days or three six-hour days) we provide accommodation, complimentary morning yoga classes, a great environment of 40 international volunteers to share your time with, free access to our festivals, and a swimming pool, spa and sauna! The minimum stay is three weeks.

There’s a range of work available with the accommodation team, kitchen, retreats/events team, gardening, building and the all-important, keeping our home clean!

Take a look at our Volunteer Orientation Pack.

If you’d like to book a volunteer experience at Kawai Purapura, please fill in our Volunteer Application Form and send it through.  Our minimum length of stay is three weeks.  We’ll get back to you quickly about whether a space is available at that time.

For all other inquiries, please email volunteer@kawaipurapura.co.nz.

Please note we enjoy a smoke, alcohol and drug free environment, and are also primarily vegetarian.
