Project Description

Yoga is medicine for the mind, body and soul..... a daily dose unveils the wellness, love, joy and bliss that is inside all of us. The seed of yoga is planted in our intention to transcend suffering; watering this seed a little each day nurtures a blossoming of our true self.
Yan is a former doctor and dedicated yogi. After practicing yoga for over fifteen years, it has now become her healing tool and prescription to herself and her students.
She imbibes her knowledge of meditation and breath-work from beloved Masters and dedicated Sadhana around the world into her yoga teaching and imparts a message she felt from their heart, that all is ok.
Awareness is ankered and nurtured in the flowing practice of integrated breath and movement; the gift of Vinyasa. Yen teaches yoga to all abilities, integrating the benefits of Vinyasa, breath-work and meditative practices with a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology of the body. She also loves to teach Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga and one to one holistic "build your own practice" sessions.
Yan weaves together her knowledge from training in medicine, surgery and radiology with her experience as a practicing yogi, in her delivery of applied anatomy and physiology on our yoga teacher training programs.
~ Open class, some previous experience of yoga recommended ~

Morning Rise & Flow Vinyasa
Every Monday morning 6.30 - 8.00 am
We rise with the radiant sun, warming up our bodies in a heating and strength building yoga sequence. Awareness is ankered and nurtured in the flowing practice of integrated breath and movement; the gift of Vinyasa. Come share the love of yoga.~ Open class, some previous experience of yoga recommended ~
Morning Gentle Flow Yoga
Every Tuesday morning 7.00 - 8.00 am
In the quiet of the morning, we breathe and flow through gentle opening postures, tuning in to each moment with full devotion to breath and body and softly waking up our presence to the glorious reality of the now.~ Suitable for all levels ~
Yin Yoga
Every Friday evening 5.30 - 7.00 pm
In Yin, we expand deeply into the fascial tissues of the body and reside in stillness for several minutes to allow enough time to relax into our physical being and nurture a more lasting opening. We are faced directly with the tensions and patterns of the body and mind...and through awareness, we can let go of identification and release them, coming to our natural state of peace and love. Get ready to sit with your true self and observe what's real.~ Suitable for all levels ~
