Build core strength, release tensions and understand how to correct poor breathing habits. Yoga postures linked with breath are sequenced for different effects.
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Talk & Transformational Yoga with Utkarsh @ Kahikatea
Utkarsh will talk briefly on the importance of a collective practice and share transformational Yoga, a unique practice that integrates the practices of Hatha, Prana, Raja, mantra and Kundalini Yoga. Deeply relaxing, easy to follow and yet highly energizing, bringing about an integral harmony of body, energy, mind and heart. Lots of asanas, chanting, breathwork and much more, sure to leave you peaceful and blissed out!
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Talk & Buddhist Meditation with Ven. Gyalten Sengye
Sengye leads various types of meditations, some focused on bring awareness to the breath, others observing mind and emotions, some meditations looking at what is the “I”?.
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Food as Prayer – Vegan Food @ Prema Cafe
Dinner time that will open with a Prayer! Learn the traditional Yogic way of blessing the food along with some fantastic Vegan treats and smoothies, chai and coffee at the Prema Café
7:30 pm to 8:15 pm – Kirtan
Join in the in singing and dancing with the awesome KP Kirtan Collective – check it out HERE! . Kawai Purapura Kirtan Collective is a group of people passionate about sharing the Yoga of Sound through chanting mantras and sharing soulful kirtans. We gather monthly for an informal Kirtan at Kawai Purapura.
