There are many ways to deepen your practice from holding postures longer, to exploring more advanced postures that require greater strength, flexibility, coordination and nervous system resilience. With a skillful approach and guidance asanas can become the medium not only of physical release and unwinding but to unearth the roots of dis-ease and imbalance. The power of the breath as a living current of transformational energy is used to heighten and guide the experience of un-earthing deeper held tensions – samskaras. Cultivating the ability to ‘observe’ without judgement or analysis is a key skill that will be developed enabling you to ‘live your yoga’ outside of the classroom.
