The Level One Bodywork – Mirimiri + Romiromi Introduction & Philosophies Workshop will be facilitated by Te Maurea – Traditional Māori Healing and is open to all, with limited spaces available.

Our mission is to carry on Papa Hohepa Delamere’s teachings and work, through Wānanga and workshops not only here in Aotearoa but also worldwide.

Te Maurea is about enlightenment. Its core purpose is to awaken and effect spiritual consciousness and awareness by using ancient traditional Māori teachings and philosophies handed down through the ages to ground us within today’s modern world.

This is a certification workshop to introduce students to the philosophies and practices of Traditional Māori Healing and Whare Wānanga Lore. This foundation course will cover the dynamics of karakia, takutaku, kaupare and whatumanawa. The philosophies are taught in both Reo Māori and English.

Level One is about developing spiritual awareness and the importance of safety for both the practitioner and the client. It will provide you with the tools to understand, navigate and stimulate your spiritual growth and consciousness not only within the mahi of Mirimiri/Romiromi but also within your everyday life.

This is the first of a three level certification course as a Mirimiri + Romiromi Practitioner. This course will provide you with the tools you need to practice safely and take care of yourselves and your Whānau when working with Wairua, Tupuna and Kaitiaki.

The exchange for this wānanga is $400 with a $100 deposit
to be paid in full by October 10th 2018 – we also have payment options if needed. Email us at temaurea1@outlook.com or PM to confirm your registration.

This is a noho wananga – you are welcome to stay with us for the weekend. We do shared kai for our meals, so ask that you bring healthy food to share for our meals.

We provide an open and safe environment for self healing, realisations, empowerment and clarity. Our workshops are open to everybody and the only requirement is that students come with a willingness to learn, an open mind and an open heart.

Mauri Ora!
