This course is designed to connect you with the transforming power of a steady Yoga practice. A classical blend of Hatha Yoga drawn from the Bihar Yoga Tradition. Drawing on the depth of this traditional system to transform and liberate all dimensions of Self you will experience and understand more of the yoga philosophy & practical yoga psychology behind the practices.
This 5 week course will go deeper by exploring purification techniques (kriyas) such as kapalabhati pranayama and steady gazing (trataka). It will include asana with both preparatory and classical postures, pranayama breathing techniques, and meditation & mantra chanting.
– A sincere approach to grounding in classical based Yoga and the Yogic system. Some prior experience preferred.
