The theme of this Yoga Day is: – Awakening the Fire Element

Yoga creates the space for deepening our connection to our body and mind as manifestations of energy and conduits of Consciousness. Through practice we deepen our appreciation and understanding of the laws of nature that continually vibrate and shape our reality. Yoga helps us to attune to these laws and see clearly where our inner work lies. These laws protect, heal and nurture our growth and when aligned with awaken us to our highest potential.

Discover, explore and awaken the fire element. Gain greater knowledge in this practice immersion of both the gross and subtle element of fire. The fire element relates to our digestive system and is our pranic center. Psychologically it relates to our sense of purpose, direction and confidence. If the fire element is healthy we experience physical vitality and mental clarity.

Explore practices for digestive health. Deepen your understanding of the psychology of the solar centre – manipura chakra and the drives associated with this centre that shape our experiences. Enjoy a range of powerful tools (asana, pranayama, mudras and bandhas, yoga nidra, mantra chanting & meditation) relating to how they can be developed into a self- practice and integrated into daily life to trigger further development.
