Year after year people return to Kawai Purapura for our Voices of Sacred Earth Festival. It’s earned it’s place as one of the most unique festivals around and, if you haven’t already, you need to experience the energy for yourself to believe it. If you’ve not been before, here are 10 reasons to join us in 2018!
1: No other festival like it
This is something really quite unique. Festival vibes entwined with culture, healing, sustainability, creative arts, Indigenous music, dance and rituals…we’ve got it all.
2: Over 125 different things to take part in
Workshops, classes, activities, ceremonies, discussions, concerts and much more. With so many things on offer you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll resonate with. Learn from Cultural Wisdom Keepers, have fun and express yourself with creative play and arts, rejuvenate with healers and facilitators, get inspired and connect to yourself and others through music and dance.
3: Try a variety of healing practices
You won’t find this much diversity in global healing traditions and modalities gathered together in one place anywhere else in the world. This variety showcases the growing trend and need to be mindful and focus on our well-being through alternative and spiritual techniques. Try Equine Therapy (healing horses, yes), the Sweat Lodge Ceremony, or maybe a Vision Quest.
4: Over 75 presenters from around the world
Voices of Sacred Earth has become such a recognised and respected event in the eyes of these amazing presenters that they’re travelling to New Zealand specifically to be a part of this.
5: Find Heaven on Earth
Learn more about how to live in harmony with nature and truly find Heaven on Earth. The need to protect and conserve our natural environment has never been stronger and being surrounded by the natural beauty, magic, and energy of Kawai Purapura will only inspire you to do this.
6: Endless Expression of Art and Music
The festival is a profound gathering of musicians, performers, artists, poets, dancers, fire-spinners, drummers and more who will join together to create something quite spectacular and mesmerizing.
7: Different Passes to Meet Your Needs
There are several different passes to choose from, including full weekend passes, day or evening tickets. Accommodation wise, you also have the opportunity to stay in traditional Marae style huts or camp in vans or tents.
8: Kids go for free
Kids under 16 have free entry to the festival. It is completely family friendly and offers activities for all ages. Everyone will find something inspiring at this unique festival.
9: Early Bird Prices end soon
Full festival passes are only $140 so get your ticket now before it’s too late! Early Bird ends on 31 December. This is an opportunity like no other to surround yourself with global visionaries, inspired expression, and holistic healing.
